John Welcom is the founder of Welcome Life Securities and directs the firm's overall development and serves as Executive Representative.

John Welcom has an extensive background in the Life Insurance Settlement Industry dating back to 1990. John began his career at a law firm in Miami, FL while attending college and was responsible for overseeing the escrow accounts, which serviced the first companies to transact business in the industry. In 1993, John began to work on behalf of terminally ill policy owners as an independent settlement broker. In 2000, John founded Welcome Funds, Inc. to meet the demand of the new market trend toward senior settlement transactions. In 2006, John founded Welcome Life Securities to serve as a broker-dealer specializing in variable life settlement broker services.

John is a frequent speaker at major industry events and a recognized expert in the life settlement industry. He was most recently profiled in Life Insurance Selling Magazine.

A licensed variable life agent in Florida, John is also a Registered Principal holding the Series 6 Investment Company/Variable Contracts Representative, Series 26 Investment Company/Variable Contracts Principal and Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent licenses.

John earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami in 1993.
